Artist: Christian Strobe Title: Back In The Wrong Time (The Lost Tapes) Type: Album Release / Cat. #: GLO018 Distributor: Believe [Digital] Release date: 2013-02-15 [Digital / CD] Genre: Indie/Electronica/Shoegaze
What the hell!? If you already knew the music of Christian Strobe, maybe this album won’t
be what you might have expected. Over the last 2 years, he had published several Nu-Disco-
Indie-Dance-remixes for artists like Katy Perry, Bahamas, Feist & M83, additionally he
released 2 EPs with his own dreamy house music stuff. And now it’s time for a full-length
album.
But what the f*ck is that? While currently almost every DJ/Producer is deep into 90ies
House/Trap/I-don’t-know-the-f*cking-hipster-genre, Mr. Strobe is really deep into the 90ies
shoegaze-wall-of-sound of the old days! What? Widescreen-guitar-distortion-fuzz-madness
meets big-room-drum-rave. It seems as if Christian listened too often to My Bloody
Valentine & Co. Whatever: 13 Tracks, a sonic trip into things like love, desire and his
archenemy: the bloody time.
Ladies and Gentlemen, please fasten your seat belts, bring your seat in an upright position,
put up all the tray tables in front of you and get ready to take-off. Christian Strobe is back in
the wrong time and i guess you better follow him.

Artist: Christian Strobe Release: Love Without Love E.P. Release / Cat. #: GLO015 Genre: Nu Disco / Indie Dance Release date: OUT SOON / 2012-03-30 [Digital]
After his blog-mega-hyped remixes of M83 & Arcade Fire (certainly unofficial) a major label (EMI) knocked on Christian Strobes door and asked for a remix for *drum roll*Katy Perrys new #1 single. What the heck? Anyway, now it’s time for his own music stuff, here comes his new EP:
“Love Without Love”: Relaxed beach club party or sweaty dancefloor ? Kissing in the moonlight or worshipping the flashlights? All bets are off! Hands-up trancy synth stabs, catchy vocals, a lot of “Ahhs”&”Ohhs” and asskickin’ drums. That’s it. You need it more traditional? Take the classic version with many oldschool piano house chords, filtersweeping retro-synths and digital 80ies touch. DX7 rules.
Still awake? “Nighthawk” is driving you through a hot suspense-packed night; you feel the deep kick, no chance to take a breath. Final destination: Nightclub.
“Helen” is your secret dancefloor affair. She’s loud, fast and likes to disco. But she never forgets to be lovely. Treat her well!
Supported by Aeroplane, Black Strobe, Larry Tee, Fear Of Tigers, Codebreaker, Keenhouse and many more
Artist: Xander & Niederreiter (feat. Elwood) Release: Sunshine EP Release / Cat. #: GLO014 Release date: OUT NOW / 2012-02-24 (all digital stores)
Xander & Niederreiter & Elwood from Austria are bringing summer forward for us! “Sunshine” feat. Suverena is a damn sexy piece of house music with a really lovely voice reminding us a bit of Róisin Murphy. And Whitesquare’s remix is making a prime time remix with a haunting groove out of it. The Stereo Youth from Switzerland gave a top-class treatment to “From Time To Time” (the b-side) with some very erotic pads and wind sections.

Artist: Whitesquare Release: Make It Rain EP Release / Cat. #: GLO013 Release date: OUT NOW / 2012-01-27 (all digital stores)
For us Whitesquare is one oft he hottest house producers coming out of Italy at the moment. 2012 will be a great year for him and it’s starting with a gorgeous new EP. The first track Secretalism will blow your mind if you’re a fan of stripped-down synth bass sounds, which we know from guys like Tanner Ross or Art Deparment. Plugs has a hypnotizing groove and this wonderful lush deep mood. She Drives is a perfect tune for late night afterparties. When the vocal comes in, you will definitely see all hands up in the air. Wanna bet? Swiss producer collective Trinidad slow down Plugs a bit, focus on the hookline and add some wonderful piano lines. Klasse Recordings’ Mr. Ho’s take on She Drives flowers out very slowly and when the bassline kicks in after two minutes, we’ll definitely will all go crazy on the dancefloor.
Act Yo Age (Sweat It Out!): “LOVE!!!! xx”
Hickup (Dirtybird): “THANKS! I LIKE THIS SOUND!”
Raziek (Get Flavour): “Love that house vibe, great release”
Fex Fellini (Globelle): “Trinidad is my choice!”
Lars Moston (No Brainer): “Dope EP.”
Chris James (Semester Musik): “Trinidad Mix is nice, Mr. Ho Brings The Old School Flavour ”
Jaymo (This Is Moda): “Will download and give it a proper blast”
Sammy Bananas (Fool’s Gold): “minimal and soulful with a nice groove”
Leg-No (Steyoyoke): “I love it .. all the EP is awesome .. my fav are the 3 originals .. Whitesquare rocks and italians do it better ehehhe”
Five Finger Discount (Globelle): “the whitesquare originals are nice, lush techy synths all over them. love it.”
Supabeatz (Southern Fried): “Solid EP! I really like She Drives. Big up!”
Xander & Niederreiter (Globelle): “She drives is really cool cant wait to play the number! We love the Remix from Mr. Ho as always!”

Artist: VA Release: One Year Globelle Compilation Release / Cat. #: GLOCOMP001 Release date: OUT NOW / 2012-01-06 (all digital stores)
It’s been an exciting first year for our baby Globelle and the entire family. Therefore we decided to release a status quo compilation, featuring a selection of our favourite tracks and remixes as well as some fresh and unreleased tunes. Musing Machine’s album „Episodes of a muser“ was a definite highlight for us, we’re still listening to it on cloudy and rainy sundays in our living rooms. „New beginning“ was the album opener and we also felt it’s a good start here cause it has this pleasing atmosphere of departure. Whitesquare is contributing two new tracks „All Eyes On Me“ and „Street Dreams“ – a deep house tune with oldschool vibes and a soulful and funky house stomper. Label co-owner Christian Strobe, who recently did an official remix for Katy Perry, shows up with his new cosmic indie dance track „Helen“ and a very catchy disco house remix from Keenhouse for his „Midnight Call“ EP. The Stereo Youth’s take on Fex Fellini’s „New Orleans“ hasn’t lost its hypnotic fire and timesless mood. Jean Nipon’s innovative blend of tech house and 2step for our russian guys Cosmo Nuts, which was supported by the Sound Pellegrino Crew and other big names, is also worth a fresh look. Trrbo, formerly known as Tim Turbo, shows up again with his refreshing urban 2step remix on Madeline Puckette’s „Everything Is Alright“, which was definitely one of our big favourites this year. And Fex Fellini rounds it up with his super chilled classic house anthem „Move Me“. Happy New Year!
Nhan Solo (Semester Musik): “Musing Machine is really knee deep hip hop shit, lovin it ! !”
Chris James (Semester Musik): “Street Dreams Is Cool, Love The Sample”

Mould (Dodgy Choices): “It’s a quite eclectic compilation here and all the tracks are great (which shows the good year for Globelle) so it’s hard to pick favs but here are my top 3: Whitesquare – All Eyes On Me (Original Mix) Cosmo Nuts – Crazy Love (Jean Nipon Kiss Remix) Madeline Puckette – Everything Is Alright (TRRBO Remix)”
Moment Musik (Riot Riot Technique): “still loving the crazy love from cosmo nuts most! whitesuqare tunes and fex fellini also good.”
